Shaun O'Neil established Celtic Plumbing & Heating after more than 20 years of hands-on work in the trade. That experience came before starting his independent business; it is not a claim that Celtic itself has traded for 20 years.

Today, Shaun works with one teammate, helping homeowners with everyday plumbing repairs, heating work, complete bathroom installations and residential refurbishment. The business is based at Celtic Park, Lower Metherell, Callington, and serves homes across Cornwall and Devon.

A repair and a larger renovation need different conversations. Start by explaining what is not working, what you want to change and how the home is used. Shaun can discuss the work and provide a free quote for prospective jobs, with the proposed scope and arrangements agreed for your property.

Understand the home, not just the fitting

Explain the existing arrangement and the result you need. Access, pipe routes and the condition of neighbouring equipment can matter as much as a new product. Discuss these before agreeing changes so the work reflects your home.

Agree the work before proceeding

Quotes for all prospective jobs are free. Ask what is included, which materials are proposed and how any further findings would be discussed. Dates, duration and temporary interruptions to facilities should be confirmed for the particular job.

Use specialist collaboration where needed

Heat pump installations are delivered with an external specialist company. Discuss assessment, installation and completion responsibilities before committing. Celtic does not claim direct MCS accreditation or independent Gas Safe registration.

Be clear about cover and terms

Public liability insurance is held. Ask Shaun for the relevant insurance details and any product or workmanship terms applicable to your project. A specific indemnity figure, fixed response time or blanket workmanship guarantee is not promised.
